This template is using jQuery cookie to remember when you switch sidebar position, change navigation, switch fluid/fixed layout. So when you restart browser or refresh/change page it will remember latest choice. It can also be done manually by adding single classes that is explained in documentation. Magie is powered by Ajax, this means that every requested page loads into the main page allowing Magie to stay truly one paged. After it redirects, it will find the appropriate section in the main page and scroll/load/switch to the section.
